A Betania Spirituality Movement Weekend

On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Family Ministry of the Archdiocese of Caracas in alliance with the Public Association of the Faithful Betania Spirituality Movement (BSM) once again presented the Workshop: “School for family and reconciliation”, this time in the Parish Holy Christ of La Vega. The event was attended by more than a hundred parishioners, with the outstanding participation of Rev. Fr. Gerardino Barracchini, Vicar for Holiness and Rector of the Sanctuary Our Lady of the Candles – Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez; Rev. Fr. Franklin Manrique, Advisor of Family Ministry; Rev. Fr. Esneiro Reverol, Parish Priest, Speaker and Host; B.Comm Maria Coromoto Bianchini Marrero, President of the BSM and Coordinator of the workshop; and the distinguished speakers: Prof. Jose Luis Granados, B.A.Phych. Carmen Emilia Behrens and Dr. Raquel Florville. Everyone had the opportunity to venerate a first-degree relic of Blessed Jose Gregorio Hernandez, and the closing moment was enriched with the musical accompaniment of the Betania Choir, directed by Prof. Maria Auxiliadora Bianchini Leon.

At the same time, the Sanctuary of Betania and Finca Betania received the visit of 344 pilgrims to attend the Holy Eucharist and take a guided tour around the areas of the apparition of the Virgin and the different oratories at the place, coordinated by the Rector of the Sanctuary Rev. Fr. Antonio Rivas and the Eng. Maria Gracia Bianchini Gebran, Treasurer of the BSM. Parishioners of S. Martin de Porres, La Pica, Aragua State with Rev. Fr. Samuel Martinez; the parish group and seminarians of La Milagrosa, Prado de Maria with Brother Miguel Angel and the Emmaus group of Maria Auxiliadora, Boleita kindly expressed their gratitude for the provided welcoming, hospitality and catechesis.

Finally, on Sunday, March 3 at 12:00 m. in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Candles – Dr. Jose Gregorio Hernandez, the Holy Eucharist was held for the promotion of the Cause of Beatification and Canonization of the Servant of God Maria Esperanza Bianchini, with the participation of the Betania Choir and testimony of a member of the Betania Spirituality Movement on the life and work of the Servant of God.
